LOW-IP, LLC — EAST BAY IT SERVICES
IT Support Plans
Ongoing IT support for East Bay businesses — on a monthly plan, or drawn from a prepaid balance as you use it. Choose the arrangement that fits how your team works.
What We Do
Remote Helpdesk
Unlimited remote support for your team’s day-to-day IT issues — password resets, software problems, email setup, and more.
Priority Response
Triage is situational. How quickly something is handled depends on what has broken and how much of your business it stops, not on a fixed rule attached to a plan level. Critical issues are moved ahead of routine work rather than waiting their turn.
Hardware Procurement
We source, configure, and deploy hardware — computers, networking gear, servers, and peripherals.
Monthly On-Site Visits
Scheduled monthly visits to handle hands-on work, equipment checks, and anything that needs to be done in person.
Patch Management
Automated OS and software patching across all managed endpoints, keeping your systems secure without manual effort from your team.
Software & Licensing
Microsoft 365, antivirus, backup, and other software managed under your account — we track renewals so you do not have to.
HOW IT IS ARRANGED
A plan, a balance, or neither
Support does not have to mean a subscription. There are three ways the same work can be arranged, and the right one depends on how often you need us.
Monthly plan
A flat monthly fee covering the ongoing work — monitoring, patching, helpdesk and unlimited remote support. Coverage levels vary by plan.
Prepaid balance
Buy hours or credits in advance and draw them down as you use them. Block hours are pre-purchased at a reduced rate with rollover included; preloaded credits do not expire.
On-demand, no plan
Support billed hourly, remote or on-site, with nothing set up in advance. Suited to businesses with occasional IT needs.
Whichever applies, plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract. What each arrangement costs is set out on our IT plans and pricing page.
HOW SUPPORT WORKS
What support actually looks like
We maintain designated service teams and sufficient coverage to handle urgent issues reliably as they arise, with triage based on severity and business impact.
Remote first
Secure remote support tools allow our team to assist users and systems without requiring an on-site visit. Most day-to-day issues are resolved this way, without waiting for anyone to travel.
On-site when it matters
Scheduled monthly visits handle hands-on work and equipment checks. On-site support is available throughout the Bay Area and can be included in a plan or billed separately.
After hours
Critical failures outside business hours go to our emergency function rather than the ordinary support queue. Emergency and after-hours rates may apply depending on the situation, and we are clear about cost before work begins.
GETTING STARTED
How a plan starts
Every engagement starts with a discovery call — usually around 30 minutes for a first conversation, longer where the scope calls for it. There is no obligation and no cost for that initial conversation.
From there we review the environment — systems, networking and infrastructure, from the physical layer through to internal systems, and the code behind them where that is relevant. We identify what needs attention, then present a written assessment and a proposed scope. Where the work involves design rather than support — a migration, a rebuild, a new deployment — discovery is a separate stage and may be a paid engagement in its own right.
A support plan covers the ongoing work that follows.
WHERE THIS FITS
Where support plans sit
This page describes the arrangement — what ongoing support covers and how it is set up.
IT plans and pricing sets out what each arrangement costs.
Managed IT and infrastructure covers the infrastructure work itself — networks, servers, cloud migration, backup and monitoring — which a plan can deliver on an ongoing basis rather than project by project.
IT support for small business is the place to start if you are not yet sure which of these you need.
Frequently asked questions
What support plans does Low-IP offer?
Support plans cover the ongoing work of keeping your systems running — unlimited remote helpdesk, priority response, patch management, hardware procurement, software and licensing management, and scheduled monthly on-site visits. Coverage levels vary by plan, and all options are month-to-month with no long-term contract. For how support is priced and billed, see our managed IT pricing.
Is there a minimum commitment for IT support?
No. Plans are month-to-month with no long-term commitment, and on-demand support is available without a plan at all. How you are billed depends on the arrangement you choose — a monthly plan, or a prepaid balance drawn down as you use it.
Do your support plans include both remote and on-site support?
Yes. All plans include remote support — secure remote support tools allow our team to assist users and systems without requiring an on-site visit. On-site support is available throughout the Bay Area and can be included in subscription plans or billed separately.
Can I get support without signing up for a plan?
Yes. On-demand support is billed hourly, remote or on-site, with nothing set up in advance. You can also pre-purchase block hours at a reduced rate, or buy preloaded credits and draw them down as you use them.
What happens if something breaks outside business hours?
Critical failures go to our emergency function rather than the ordinary support queue. Emergency and after-hours rates may apply depending on the situation, and we are clear about cost before work begins. Our emergency IT support page sets out how that works.
Does a support plan cover buying hardware and software?
Yes. We source, configure and deploy hardware — computers, networking gear, servers and peripherals — and manage Microsoft 365, antivirus, backup and other software under your account, tracking renewals so you do not have to.
